Barn Cats

Sometimes we rescue community cats that are unable to stay in their current location for various reasons but are not socialized enough to be placed for adoption into a home.

We have a Barn Cat Program that places these cats in outdoor environments such as barns, sheds, or other outdoor shelters to help manage pests like mice, rats, and snakes.

While we waive the adoption fees for our Barn/Working cats, any donation is appreciated to help us continue to save more cats.

Adopting a Barn Cat:

While the adoption process may be different for our barn cats, we still work hard to find the best possible homes for them. We ask that before you decide to bring a cat home, make certain you are able to care for them by providing the following:

* Fresh food and water, daily

* Shelter from outdoor elements

* A safe place to hide from predators

* Confined space for the initial two-three-week acclimation period to
learn that they are “home”

What We Provide:

* A New Cat/Cats for your barn, outbuilding, stable, garage, shed or
other structure at no charge (adoption fee waived). Barn cats have the
best success when acclimating in pairs.

* Free Rodent Control. Our barn cats are ready to work and will gladly
keep pesky critters out of your feed.

* A Healthy Companion. Your other animals will benefit from a new
friend who has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated and treated for
fleas.

* Assistance and Advice. We’ll provide all the information you need
for the successful addition of your new Barn Cat.

* Free Delivery, and help getting set up.
